Skate·vi·sion n. 1. The ability to innovate fresh possibilities in skateboarding. “SkateVision” is “Inked” meets “Viva La Bam” meets “X Games”. Follow Skate Shop owner, Larry, and his motley crew as they experience the wild ups and downs of running the most happenin’ skate shop in Houston, Texas. Meet Larry, the guy who all the young girls swoon over, as he promotes his skate team in between surfing and walking the shop dog, “Hollywood“. Laugh with Graig, a tattooed, tight pants wearing trickster while he tunes up skateboards, and lusts after his beautiful girlfriend! Then there is Emme, as goofy as she is pretty. Plus many more staff, skate team members, and customers with personalities as big as Texas. “SkateVision” takes the hot reality craze and adds the thrill of voting for your favorite up-and-coming skater from each show. Each week “SkateVision” will highlight skaters from around the US and viewers will vote for a weekly winner. The winner over the entire season will earn the opportunity to ride with the Pros! Also during the season, “SkateVision” will introduce you to some of the best professional and amateur skaters. The show will present the best weekly wipe outs, random moments, and more, and show highlights from skaters from around the world. “SkateVision” is the next phase in reality television. It combines the addictiveness of the reality world with the competitive feel of sports. Viewer participation options double through skaters’ submission of footage and viewer online voting. The show appeals to a wide demographic from elementary school age children to adults in their early thirties. “SkateVision” can adjust to a 30 or 60 minute time period and the series can run weekly for 8 to 13 weeks (according to network schedule demands). Tap into the colorful world of “SkateVision“. This television concept was created by Goddess Productions. Michelle Fitzgerald, creator. Concept realized on 7/20/2005. WGAw Register #1084744
